We will never give up on you, O Gaza!
Through shattered homes and broken dreams,
Your voice, it echoes, it loudly screams.
We stand with you, in solidarity,
Until the day your land is truly free.
Yet in your plight, you strive for peace,
A longing for a war to cease.
from your lips uttering حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل
O Gaza, your wounds run deep,
But your spirit soars, your courage seeps.
Through the rubble and the pain,
You rise above, your strength sustains.
Oh Gaza, we will remember you
We won’t let the world forget you
We will remind the world every day of
how you wept and bled for your people
We will not give up on you.
The measure of A Man!
You chase the glitter, the fleeting gold,
But you forget!
The Qur’an reminds us truths of old.
“And among His signs is that He created for you mates,
That you may find sakīnah, love, and rahmah innate.” [30:21]
Let me remind you of A man,
Who by the will of Allah showed you a better plan.
The Prophet ﷺ showed us love’s pure face,
With gentleness, mercy, and endless grace.
He ﷺ mended his clothes, served at home,
Never too proud, though the world was his throne.
He listened, he smiled, he bore every test,
With patience and kindness, he gave his best.
Not wealth, not crowns, not thrones of men,
But character raised him, again and again.
For love is not bought, nor sold in a store,
It’s found in a heart that remembers its Lord.
And see how Musa عليه السلام once stood,
A wanderer alone, with nothing but good.
“O my father, hire him, for best is the one,
Strong and trustworthy” [28:26] — the words were done.
No riches he had, no mansion, no land,
Yet a father entrusted his daughter’s hand.
For wealth can be made, but hearts remain,
A soul of truth is life’s true gain.
So my dearies…
When you seek love, let this be your plan:
Do not chase glitter—look for the man,
Whose faith is his compass, whose character shines,
For such is the love that stands through time.
